Have you ever shopped at The Nerds? Check out pricing at The Nerds before you purchase elsewhere as they are known for their super low pricing online. Their customer service record is also superb and they are very service oriented.
Looking for a good price on a laptop, desktop or office supplies. Office Max is a great place to start saving on all your technical and office needs for the New Year. Often, Office Max will have unbeatable doorbusters during Back to School Season and Holiday Season. Keep coming back frequently to see more great picing from Office Max for Cyber Monday and Black Friday.
Target will have special Black Friday offers, keep checking this link as many times as you like to see which offers are live online. Keep checking everyday to see how many more offers are added:
Target is advertising that they have some 50,000 items that’ll be shipped free!
Target always has substantial Black Friday savings, so I’m sure they’ll have some spectacular online offerings. Last year, many retailers basically had the same prices online as they did in their brick and mortar stores. I’m not predicting anything specific for Target, just keep coming back for Target Black Friday Deals.
Jos. A. Bank is having a Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales event that begins today, November 22, 2009. As I’ve written before, this is one my favorite stores. If you wait for a sale, its amazing how many items you can purchase for a relatively low price. Many men wait for their semi-annual and/or quarterly sales where you can really stock up and save a substantial amount of cash.
Last Spring, they were offering tuxedos for approximately $200 after coupon savings. My daughter’s boyfriend bought his tuxedo for the prom there since the cost of renting one can be as high as $100. His family felt he’d get alot of good use out of owning a tuxedo and felt this was a smart buy.
Rumor has it that Best Buy has 300 items for sale in their Thanksgiving weekend, Black Friday, Cyber Monday blowout sale. I absolutely love Best Buy because their sales people are knowledgeable and courteous. They never try to push you into buying anything if you’re not quite sure about your purchase. Another nice thing is that Best Buy personnel each have their own area of expertise so they can help out customers.
Usually Best Buy online sales are just as exciting as those in their brick and mortar stores. Keep checking back for more Best Buy deals all the way through the holiday season.
CompUSA is a favorite retailer both online and in the malls. This store is has been around for quite some time and they have an excellent reputation. They are known for their customer service and knowledgeable sales people. I would never hesitate to purchase anything from CompUSA.
I usually have a story to share about my favorite retailers. With Comp USA I can remember purchasing a Playstation 2 for my son several years ago. Unfortunately, it broke and they told me to bring it in and they gave me a brand new one to take home, no questions asked. I did buy the extended warranty which is well worth the extra money.
Now we have the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 along with the Wii. What do you think the next electronic toy will be??? I have to admit that I don’t know what I’d do without all the bells and whistles on electronic equipment today. Recently my college aged daughter talked me into buying my first Apple Macbook. I have to tell you this is the best decision I ever made and well worth the money. After always having a regular PC I was tired of it constantly locking up on me and always worried about viruses. Did you know the Apple computers don’t normally get viruses. Viruses generally are made to attack Windows Applications.
Drugstore.com is a great source for any thing from shampoo to contact lens solution. Their prices are very cheap, in fact amazingly cheaper than you’ll find at many brick and mortar stores.
You just need to plan ahead when shopping at Drugstore.com. They have plenty of neat things they offer for Christmas gifts like marshmallow guns, Seinfeld CD’s food gifts and more.
If you’re just planning to shop for toiletry type items, Drugstore.com has a large inventory of H1N1 supplies like masks and hand sanitizers. One can really cut down their risk of the flu by just taking precautions like washing your hands several times a day. Okay, now I’m sounding like a mom again, enough said.
Cyber Monday usually comes on the Monday right after Black Friday.
Sometimes Cyber Monday deals are even better than Black Friday Deals as the merchants lower prices even more because they were disappointed in their figures for the Thanksgiving weekend.
It’s pretty much a game, all I can suggest is to keep looking and checking out all the Cyber Monday deals right here.
In my opinion, Dell Home’s Cyber Monday Deals are far better than Black Friday. You can get a 32 inch TV for only $479 and a powerful Inspiron 1525 laptop for only $519. These deals are only available through December 1, 2008. Hurry……..Also, when the supply is exhausted of sale items, the deal is over.
Amazon.com has a multitude of Black Friday deals throughout their store. Amazon.com is one of the pioneers in online shopping. I personally love Amazon, as you can consistently find excellent prices there.
Many years ago, in the infancy of internet shopping Amazon primarily sold books. I cannot believe how many different items they stock today. They have been one of the most successful and trusted online merchants over the years.
Some products Amazon carries are:
CDs, Laptops, Perfume, Aftershave, Cold Weather Gear, Gourmet Food, Books, Furniture and more.
Over the years, I have ordered at least a dozen items and I’ve always received them in the time frame promised. They are very organized when it comes to paperwork too, which all adds up to a first class operation.
The Dell Home Black Friday Ad is outstanding. Look for savings on Desktops, TV’s, XBox and more.
It’s 2:25 a.m. EST Thanksgiving morning and I’m here entering codes in for Black Friday. I’m getting very tired, so I’m only going to enter one more store then I need to get some rest!!
Sony is offering at least $200 off their VAIO laptops for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. However, the best deal I’ve found for Sony is on the Playstation 3 where you get $150 credit after the purchase of a Playstation 3.
If you have ever owned a Cross pen, you can agree that these pens are a real treat to write with. I had received a Cross Pen for a special gift about 25 years ago with my name engraved on it. I actually still have that pen and it still works. I don’t use it that often, however, how many other pens last for 25 years?
Cross is joining in the Black Friday festivities with offering some superb savings opportunities on their products:
Note that these sales are good through Monday, December 1st
Palm is another retailer offering a great Black Friday Offer. They are offering $100 off any $300 purchase (wowee, that is like 1/3 off stuff that never usually goes on sale.)
I always wanted a Palm but never did get one, I remember when I worked full time at BP the executives used to have them and I was always intrigued with them. My toy now is my tilt phone, so I don’t think I need any other type of hand held device for now!
Journey’s is offering 20% off for Black Friday with free UPS ground shipping for orders over $75.00.
Journey’s features mainly shoes for the teenage and young adult group. The shoes they carry are of excellent quality. They also carry Doc Martens shoes which will last many years. My son got his Doc Martens in 8th grade and he’s still wearing them today in his junior year of high school. His feet never grew after 8th grade, thank goodness, as he was already 6′2 tall at age 14. What I’m trying to say is that Doc Martens are a bit expensive, but they deliver many years of comfort.
I’m not sure exactly which shoes will be onsale in this Journey’s 20% off Black Friday Sale, however, take a peek and look!
The Shoe Mall is offering 20% off in honor of Black Friday. These deals keep marching into my email. This year appears to be way better than last year, as more online merchants are taking part. Personally, at 50 something, I’m past the stage where shopping is fun on Black Friday so I much prefer to shop online. I also have been told that some of the really good Black Friday deals may be live as early as Thanksgiving afternoon.
I’ll let my college coed go out and shop at dawn, as it is what she lives for…..last year we got into a squabble due to a freak snowstorm on Black Friday morning, however, she won and ended up pulling out of here at about 3:45 a.m!!!
I really should be cleaning my house for Thanksgiving as it is pretty much of a disaster, however, I love what I do, help people save money!!!
It is rumored that Best Buy is having a list of a dozen or so phenomenal bargains for Black Friday that’ll be online for purchase as early as sometime Thanksgiving Day. As soon as I have this list, I’ll post the items. Some items rumored to be on the list are:
I just received word from the affiliate manager at Kohl’s that there will be 300 Doorbusters for Black Friday at Kohl’s along with free shipping offers.
If you want to stay home and out of a hot checkout line, shop in the comfort of your home. I expect there will be a stampede at Kohl’s on Black Friday morning. Some of my best deals in the past have come from Kohl’s. Many times I have purchased a dozen items for less than $200.
Go through this link below to see what’s in store for Black Friday!!
On the right hand side of the page you’ll find a link to go to the 300 Black Friday Specials
Click this button
Here’s a couple of Thanksgiving specials I just received from Kohl’s:
I have no other information on specific items on sale at Kohl’s. However, go to the link above and enter Clearance in the browser bar and you’ll find great deals on all their Clearance Items.
This store has by far the best offer going for Pre-Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday
At Moosejaw.com, if you are buying just 1 item, use code 200 and save 20% on your North Face purchase (it works on all the other cool brands too and get free UPS ground shipping. When I tried it on the black Denali jacket that all the kids want, it brought this coat down to $132.00 - Unbelievable.
Update on November 28, here’s another coupon to use: Save 30% on The North Face Denali Jacket at Moosejaw through November 30! Free S&H! It looks like they have several Denali jackets marked at 30% off!
Moosejaw.com just added another coupon yesterday for multiple item purchases, where you buy one item and get the second one for 50% with code 414. I went in and checked it out and it appears to work on all merchandise, regardless of price. This could amount to a huge savings, considering how much some of the ski and snowboarding jackets and pants cost. Remember, use code 414 to redeem this coupon.
A smart idea to use is if you need 3 items, do one order with the 2 items and use code 414 to get the Buy one, get one half off. Then go back in with another order (remember they have free shipping) and use the 20% off coupon on one item (code 200).
2. Upside Over specializes in kids outerwear. Use this coupon THANKSGIVING SALE, Northface and Patagonia Kids winter wear, on sale for a limited time at Upside Over. On the left hand side of their website, they have a 15% off coupon on your 1st purchase after you sign up for the newsletter (which is probably packed with savings.) I noticed many excellent prices on North Face for the younger set. One suggestion for saving money on a slender young adult is to buy an XL kids (the kids jackets are between 30-40% less than the adults). I got this idea from a sweet girl (a high school senior) who works at our neighborhood fruit and veggie stand. She said she was wearing a kids XL and she is about 5′0 and around 100 lbs.
3. If you can’t find the perfect North Face at these other stores, you can always shop at the “official” North Face Store. They have a free shipping offer for Black Friday weekend.
Aeropostale is offering 50-70% off everything in their Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend sale event. Aeropostale’s prices are already quite reasonable and with 50-70% off, imagine how far your cash will go at Aeropostale this Holiday Season. To the moms, kids love this store too. I found it to be a great place to find shirts, tees, jeans, pj’s and more. Sadly my oldest is now on this “designer” kick, however, we bought alot of stuff at Aeropostale through the years for very cheap sums of money. I remember them having short sleeve tees for only $4.00 on clearance less than 5 years ago. Anyway, here is the link to the Aeropostale Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale Event.
Wet Seal is offering 20% off everything for Cyber Monday. This is another store that appeals to teenagers and young adults. In the past, they always carried some very unusual and beautiful purses. They also have a wide selection of tops, bottoms, and more.
Tiger Direct has a huge inventory (over 50,000 products). They have several great deals waiting to be checked out for Black Friday. Tiger Direct has been in business for 20 years, buy from a veteran of the business, Tiger Direct.
MacMall is having a 57 Hour Apple Sale from 3:00 p.m. EST on November 24th to 11:59 EST November 26th. Pick up some astronomical buys on MacBooks, MacBookAir and IPods.
If you’ve never browsed through MacMall before, you need to take a look. Their prices are always very competitive and I love their doorbuster sales like this one.
Remember, you only have 57 hours to act on this one!!!!
Walmart has now released the links to their Thanksgiving and Black Friday Sales. They were one of the merchants who had held out until the last minute to post some of their doorbusters. From my memory over the years, Walmart usually had some of the best Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday deals. Personally, I hate crowds and Walmart has offered their Black Friday and Thanksgiving Deals online this year with discounted or free shipping. And, here’s the Walmart Black Friday Ad the whole world has been waiting for!!!!
Nintendo Wii Value Bundle
From $358.00
Final price depends on the options you choose.
BUNDLE & SAVE! Get more, save more and spend less when you buy these items together. Save $30! Nintendo Wii Value Bundle includes Nintendo Wii Console w/ Wii Sports, Additional Wii Remote Controller, Additional Wii Nunchuk Controller, Your Choice of three (3) games, Collectible Accessory Starter Kit.
And, don’t forget about Walmart’s Thanksgiving Specials!!
Drugstore.com is the coolest online Drugstore I’ve found on the Web. This store has such a huge selection of all kinds of neat things. It reminds me of more of a “big variety store” on the Internet. Not only does Drugstore.com have the normal drugstore items, they also carry things like Marshmallow Guns, GPS systems and more all at unbelievable prices.
Take a look here at their prices (note these deals will be constantly updated all the way through Cyber Monday):

KMart has nice discounts in their store all week long. If I remember correctly, they usually have approximately 3 different ads this week. Usually one of them has really good prices on things like 2-Liters of Pop and Snacks. You need to run right over to KMart on the morning of the sale because these will go right out the door quickly.
I am mainly featuring online sales in my blog as I don’t want to compete with Michael over at http://www.bfads.net. He has done a spectacular job in keeping everyone informed of all the in-store sales. Below is a listing of coupons which will constantly be updated right up to Cyber Monday. Come back and visit as many times as you want!!!
Last year, these prices and discounts were constantly changing, so it really helps to come back often. I noticed on a few occasions where one retailer had say Color TV from Mars at $300 so retailer number 2 went ahead and matched his Color TV from Mars at $300 too and maybe he even dropped it to $299!!!
Go all the way down this page and there is even a preview of Cyber Monday Specials - here are a few to wet your appetite!!
40% Off on Levis Strauss Cyber Monday (expires: 12/1/2008)
40% Off on Holiday Dresses Cyber Monday (expires: 12/1/2008)
PacSun has released their list of Black Friday Deals. It is quite a superb list of deals on practically everything in the store. PacSun is another store that the teenagers love and will appreciate gifts from. Their normal prices are kind of high (in my opinion) so whenever you can grab something on sale at PacSun, do it. They also offer these “bonus dollars” to use on a future purchase.
Visit the PacSun now as all the Black Friday prices are posted and shop till dawn (ha!ha!). I checked these out and you can save a nice bit of cash at this store. They have the absolute cutest backpacks for the tweenies. Their clothes are very high quality and they wash well and can easily be handed down to a younger child (this happens at our house alot!).
Here’s a list of all their coupons and deals, go ahead and start buying today before everything gets picked over.
Sears seems to be having one sale after another this holiday season. I’m actually going to run out later and hope to grab a new dishwasher. Ours broke quite a while ago and I’m tired of washing dishes and everything is 10% off today!!! There are also many other great specials and price cuts.
I noticed some good prices on TV’s:
$350 off on Samsung 46? LCD Full 1080p HDTV on sale $1,949.99
(expires: 11/29/2008)
$500 off on Sharp AQUOS 32in LCD 1080p Full HDTV on sale for $799.99
Amazon.com has added the Aldo shoe line to their massive inventory of discounted designer shoes. Amazon has said that:
“The ALDO brand is famous for its selection of high quality, cutting edge fashion footwear at affordable prices.” Enjoy free shipping on any Aldo shoe purchase from Amazon.com this Holiday Season.
I just received an email a couple minutes ago from FAO Schwarz announcing 20% off selected toys from Nov. 21 - 23 only (Friday-Sunday). This store has very unique and well made toys you won’t find elsewhere. I highly recommend this merchant as they have an impeccable service record and they are a must-see when one visits New York City with children.
FYE has a variety of specials they are offering for the Holiday Season. Most of these deals are good all the way up to Christmas. A few years ago, I personally wanted to take in some of the FYE Black Friday deals at the Mall and I stood in line for about 45 minutes. I’m telling you there is nothing like shopping online in the warmth of your home!
Click here to check out this great deal: Nintendo Wii
I just went on Amazon.com and found the Wii at $279. This is a great price for it, and we know what has happened the last two Holiday seasons with the Wii. Usually when Amazon gets these in, they don’t last.
Wolf Camera is offering free shipping and no sales tax this holiday season.
Wolf Camera’s pricing is already much lower than other retailers. This is a great time of the year to pick out that special digital camera you always wanted!
Sears is having a November 22 Doorbuster Event just days before Thanksgiving. If you don’t feel like braving the elements you can find the same savings online. There are substantial savings in most departments. Remember, you’re dealing with Sears and they have quality products like their Craftsman and Kenmore lines.
Sears has released a link to their Cyber Monday Deals which are good from now thru December 1st. Right now, there is just the link to the
Free Shipping. I don’t know if they are planning to have a special page devoted to Cyber Monday. We’ll know more closer to the day.
I have a hunch that with this rotten economy the stores are going to really slash prices to get us to shop. Our dishwasher broke (Ugh) and I’m hoping to find some doorbuster at Sears before Black Friday. I am not going to do all the Thanksgiving dishes while the men in my family watch football. I’m basically outnumbered with two sons, a husband and two male dogs. I miss my lovely daughter who is away at college, however, she’ll be home for 5 wonderful days at Thanksgiving.
Hope you find great deals at Sears Cyber Monday Sale!
Lego’s are always a popular gift for kids of all ages. I even know of some adults who still are eager to help their kids build their new Lego projects. Some kids build the Lego project and leave it on display and you have those kids like my son who basically has “lego carpeting” in his room. He’s promised to me he’ll clean it up before Thanksgiving, hopefully!
Lego’s come in small sets with less than 25 pieces to sets with hundreds of thousands of pieces. There is even a place called “Legoland.” We found a neat Lego’s store at Universal Studios in Orlando. At this store there were huge bins of Legos where the kids could build their own creations from. What’s nice about this store is that it kept my son who was quite young at the time content during an otherwise chaotic family shopping excursion.
Buy.com has given us a list of the Top 10 Selling Books. The Twilight Series is one of those that you can’t put down once you get started reading it. Perfect for a cold winter night!!
Again you can stack this coupon with any purchase below:
Buy.com was the very first place I shopped online for bargains. You can find so many cool things at this store. I found Birkenstok shoes here last year for about half of what you’d pay at an official Birkenstok store. I told a good friend about the deal as her daughter had been pestering her for months about getting Birkenstocks. She was thrilled to get them for such a fabulous price. I love helping my friends save money.
They also have great deals on designer goods (not fakes), games, household items, etc….
BaseballSavings.com released their holiday gift guide this week. Find everything baseball related at rock bottom prices. This store has something for everyone, you just need to take time to visit it soon.
Shoes.com is offering 20% off all athletic shoes for the next month in honor of the holiday season. Their prices are already quite low, so with the 20% off, this makes it a “hot” find. Everyone wears tennis shoes, so this is a great time to either buy yourself or a loved one some new athletic shoes. They also have a very generous return policy, so you need not worry about ordering shoes online. Just make sure you read all the guidelines and follow them accordingly.
Use code RUN2008 at the checkout. This sale goes on until 12-19-2008.
Blair is offering 20% off everything from November 26 through December 1st. (This sale is for four days only, if you need something visit the site today and pick out your items, then be sure to go back next weekend)
Blair has some very reasonable pricing which is a godsend in this rotten economy. It sure is depressing, isn’t it. I just hope Obama can figure things out, I sure wouldn’t want his job.
Follow this link to Blair’s huge Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale:
Perfume.com has many items that are up to 70% off selected retail. This store is basically a perfume superstore where you’ll find every imagineable fragrance. Look here first for perfume, they have absolutley phenomenal pricing. Make your list and shop from the warmth of your home.
While I’m typing this, the Weather Channel just said that Myrtle Beach had a “trace” of snow today - gee in November that’s unheard of. Here in Ohio we had our share of the good ‘ole Lake Effect today, but that’s to be expected in this part of the country. I love to shop online for Christmas because I save sooo much money and take advantage of all the Free Shipping Offers.
MacMall has really come out with one heck of a Pre-Black Friday ad. They have 144 items on special - this is worth taking a look at. They also have thrown in free UPS ground shipping on any orders over $99. This sale is a “no brainer.” Limited Quantities on some items, so please don’t wait, or you may miss them. Last week, Amazon had a Wii for only $249 delivered and let me tell you it basically flew out of there in minutes. So, please don’t wait on these deals from MacMall!
Fathead is offering a BOGO (Buy One Get One Half Price) on their large sized wall stock. Use this coupon, note it is only good until November 25th. Last year they ran something similar and it was a real popular promotion because you could actually make two different gifts out of this one. If you have a son or grandson who is a sports fanatic, this is a perfect gift for him. Husbands and significant others love these too. They are very easy to install on any painted wall, the only thing that is needed is two people!!
If you purchased the Fatheads last year, here’s another neat idea. Fathead now sells furniture in team colors. It is very good quality and this makes a perfect addition to a TV or Rec Room. I may even breakdown and get my 17 year old one since the chairs in our basement are circa 1980 and they are basically trashed!! Hopefully the kids are old enough now to respect and take care of nice furniture.
Remember to redeem the Buy One, Get One Half Price quickly, as it’s only good until November 25th.
Save $100 on a Mac at the Apple Store. Apple is one retailer I recommend buying from online. We went to the Apple Store at Legacy Village in early August and the place was jam packed in the middle of the afternoon. I can’t picture what its like close to the Holidays!!!
Apple is offering free laser engraving on iPod’s. They are offering the iPod in colors to match everyone’s taste. If I can offer any advice on an iPod, if you’re offered an extended warranty grab it as our kids are not always as responsible as we wish and these really come in handy! My daughter did something to hers at college and am I glad I got the extended warranty!!
Face it, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without shrimp cocktail, crab legs, lobster, etc. Legal Sea Foods is a great source for fresh seafood at great prices. They are kicking off the season by offering some great specials to take advantage of for those holiday parties!!
Their prices are great, their service remarkable, give them a try today!
It pays to get organized early for the Holiday Season and Organize.com will be giving you 8% off any $35 purchase. I am recovering from minor foot surgery and I wish that their products came with a built in Maid (yeah right!). I have Thanksgiving Dinner here and I’m not quite sure how I’ll get this placed cleaned up. My family thinks I spend too much time on the computer with my websites, and yes, I probably do!! Maybe this will be the incentive I need. Another good incentive is to watch HDTV, it makes my house look like a wreck!
HDTV also promotes alot of neat new products that will make your life easier around the house.
Here’s the coupon:
Do you love Paula Dean? Win her book, register below:
And, Organize.com’s final deal is 20% off of china storage products. This item is a “one time purchase” item. They keep your china safe and clean!
Comp USA will have many Black Friday Specials available, however, the best offer I’ve seen so far is that they are offering $20 back from a $200 purchase if you use Paypal. Last year, several large retailers did the same thing by offering $20 back and it worked out nicely if you could plan your holiday purchases.
They are also offering a Lenovo 15.4 inch dual core processing laptop for only $699 ($200 savings). This particular computer has been rated very well as I have been reading and comparing various laptops as mine just doesn’t have the “oomph” it needs and I may buy myself a new one for Christmas! I still haven’t decided which one I will buy, but this is indeed a good price. I like CompUSA too because many years ago my son’s Playstation broke (we had purchased the extended warranty). They were very accommodating and just basically gave us a new one right on the spot and sent the broken one to the factory for repair.
Click here to see what else CompUSA has to offer for the holiday season:
We will add any other Black Friday type specials as we find them for Comp USA
Ritz Camera can be added to the list of retailers who is offering a “Deal of the Day” throughout the 2008 Holiday Season.
They also are offering free shipping and yes, no sales tax!!! Depending on where you live, sales tax on a digital camera can possibly go up to a $100 or maybe even higher if you buy the “Cadillac.”
Ritz Camera has a history of good customer support so one can feel confident in doing business with them. They also have many brick and mortar stores throughout the country. Black Friday Specials at RitzCamera.com
I just found a really neat site where you can purchase a certificate for a gift card that can be redeemed at over 100 stores. All you do is decide which dollar increment you want to give, then you purchase the certificate online. Your gift recipient can then go online or call and choose from over 100 different stores. Another nice feature is that they don’t have to use it all at one time and they can mix and match merchants.
Drugstore.com has announced their popular “Deals of the Day” program for the Holiday Season, 2008. From now until December 19, 2008, every day will bring a new “Deal of the Day.”
Drugstore.com carries a huge variety of different products. Their prices are extremely reasonable and on comparing prices, I found that most of the time they are lower than my local drugstore. If you’re a good planner, you can order your necessities monthly from Drugstore.com. They often have sales on different items which gives you a chance to stock up.
Nintendo WiiAmazon.com has featured the Nintendo Wii for less than $250 for the Holiday 2008 Season. If you have been considering buying the Wii for your family, but it now. We all know what happens every Christmas with the Wii. Everyone, young and old, loves the Wii. My father is 94 years old and the Assisted Living Facility he stays at just purchased a Wii for the residents. According to my dad, it’s been quite a hot item over at the facility.
SOLD OUT, THESE WENT VERY QUICKLY - WATCH FOR UPDATES. IT LOOKS LIKE THIS WILL CONTINUE TO BE A VERY POPULAR ITEM THE 2008 HOLIDAY SEASON, REPEATING THE TREND FROM THE LAST TWO CHRISTMAS SEASONS.
Buy.com is a pioneer on the internet. This was one of the first companies I bought online from when online shopping was in its infancy. Buy.com has just about the best offers out there in every imagineable category. Always check at Buy.com before you make a big purchase. They have great prices on TV’s, ipods, GPS systems, software, games, toys and more.
I have a few nice specials from three different The North Face suppliers.
The best one by far is from Moosejaw. This store carries a multitude of outerwear and they have a good selection of North Face. Something is always on sale at this store. Check out the latest exciting promotions at Moosejaw.com! Use code 200 and save 20% plus get free ground shipping. I tried it on the basic Denali jacket and it worked!!!!! It brought it all the way down to $132.00 (wow).
Moosejaw.com just added another coupon today where you buy one item and get the second one for 50%. I went in and checked it out and it appears to work on all merchandise, regardless of price. This could amount to a huge savings, considering how much some of the ski and snowboarding jackets and pants cost. Use code 414 to redeem this coupon.
The next offer is from Upside Over a really cool online store that specializes in outerwear for kids. They also have a coupon on the left side of their site which is offering 15% off your first sale when you sign up for their newsletter. They have some wonderful prices on North Face, a refreshing surprise.
The North Face Jackets in kids sizes are substantially cheaper than the adult sizes. If you are petite, you can easily order an XL kids. This is just an idea of a good way to save some extra cash.
Additionally, I just came across a Free Shipping offer from The North Face Official Company Store. If you want that really unusual North Face, get it here, they’ll have it!! This brand is a very popular one among our teenage and young adult set. The coats rarely go on sale and when they do, grab ‘em quickly!!! Near downtown Chicago, there is a North Face Store which is just amazing!
The online store is offering free shipping on any $100 purchase on Black Friday only. A gift from The North Face is a perfect item for the hard to buy for person, a grandchild, daughter, son or even for yourself. Believe me, kids love North Face Jackets. I just ended up buying one for my oldest who is in college in chilly Milwaukee. She ended paying for the Ugg boot herself to complement the North Face.
During the Holiday Season, many retailers offer free shipping. This is the best time of the year to take advantage of free shipping. I am basically addicted to online shopping and I’ve found that in many cases when you combine free shipping with some online deals, you are ahead in the long run. If you go to your local mall and you buy gifts, you need to come home, wrap the gifts and send them out. Shipping isn’t cheap, believe me. My daughter wanted me to “rush” her some vintage clothes to wear at a Halloween Party at her college and I was amazed at the cost of overnight shipping, a whopping $31.00 (no kidding). Most of the free shipping offers just apply to standard 2-3 day shipping which is still a phenomenal offer.
Jos. A. Bank is having a sale this upcoming weekend with savings up to 65% off. Jos A Bank is one of my families personal favorites to shop at. They have quality merchandise which stays looking new for a long time. My husband’s office has a dress code of “Corporate Casual” and practically his entire wardrobe was purchased at either Jos. A. Bank or at Dillards when they have Polo on sale. When these brands are on sale, grab them. You can get cheaper brands at the chain stores, however, their quality is unlike Jos. A. Bank. And, their sales are absolutely “heavenly.”
Lowe’s has kindly posted their Black Friday deals on their website. This is great news for all home remodelers who want to grab some deals to spruce up their homes for the holidays. Have you been to Lowe’s lately? You’ll be amazed at all this store has to offer and their prices are very competitive and their sales associates are quite courteous.
Sears has a Veterans Day Sale which goes until November 11th with up to 60% off and Free Shipping on orders over $99. Take advantage of early season savings at Sears, plus get it shipped for free! Sometimes these deals that appear before Black Friday are better than the ones on Black Friday.

KMart has a Family and Friends event with 20% off clothing and 10% off almost everything else. If you’ve had your eye on something at KMart today is the day to grab it. KMart’s prices are usually very competitive and they often have reduced shipping offers.
Many popular online retailers are already running some decent sales prior to Black Friday. Here are some of the better deals I found online:
Walmart is offering 97 cent shipping on toys as well as very low prices in many other departments. They had an early bird sale in all their brick and mortar stores this morning where they were featuring low priced TVs and laptops. The prices were spectacular, however, there were limited items of the doorbusters sent to stores.
FAO Schwartz is a famous toy store that has the most unique toys you’ll find. They have been running some excellent pre-holiday sales. My daughter who is now 19, received a snow leopard stuffed animal from her aunt as a gift from FAO Schwartz about 15 years ago and that snow leopard looks as new today as it did the day she received it. FAO Schwartz carries only quality merchandise. They are offering free shipping with a purchas of $120.00 and you can get 10% off of a $90 purchase through November 11, 2008.
Sears is having a 2-Day online sale next Friday and Saturday (11/14 - 11/15)
They are offering free shipping for orders over $99.00.
These types of deals will keep coming on in every day through Christmas. There are usually huge deals right around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. With the horrible economy, we the consumer will be the winners this Holiday Season. Look for unbelievable values and lots of free shipping.
